They form the National Network for Health Technology Assessment (RENETSA) and approve other provisions

El Ministerio de la Salud a través de la Resolución Ministerial Nº 190-2020-MINSA, publicada el 13 de abril del 2020 en el Diario Oficial “El Peruano”, resolvió “Conformar la Red Nacional de Evaluación de Tecnologías Sanitarias (RENETSA)”, la cual estará integrada por las siguientes instituciones:

• El Instituto Nacional de Salud (INS), a través del Centro Nacional de Salud Pública (CNSP), quien será la institución a cargo de la coordinación;
• La Dirección General de Medicamentos, Insumos y Drogas (DIGEMID); y 
• El Seguro Social de Salud (ESSALUD), a través del Instituto de Evaluación de Tecnologías en Salud e Investigación (IETSI).

Además a través de la citada Resolución Ministerial se establecen las  funciones de las que será responsable la RENATSA, quién será conducida por el INS, mientras se establece en la normatividad correspondiente a la autoridad competente a cargo de la misma. Adicionalmente, se menciona que su instalación se dará en un plazo máximo de  10 días hábiles contados desde la vigencia del documento.
