Temporary measures are issued to ensure the supply of products necessary for health during the Health Emergency declared as a consequence of COVID-19

El Presidente de la República  de Perú a través del Decreto Supremo Nº 013-2020-SA, publicado el 8 de abril del 2020 en el Diario Oficial “El Peruano”, dictó medidas  temporales para asegurar el suministro de productos necesarios para la salud durante la Emergencia Sanitaria declarada como consecuencia del COVID-19, con el objetivo de garantizar el abastecimiento del mercado interno de medicamentos, insumos médicos y equipamiento vinculado con la prevención, diagnóstico y atención del COVID-19.

Algunas de las medidas se basan en lo siguiente:

• La autorización de exportación con carácter excepcional y temporal de las mercancías detalladas en el Anexo Nº 01 del citado documento.
• La información del Sistema Nacional de Salud, en base a la información que se debe remitir a CENARES, respecto del stock y necesidades de productos farmacéuticos, dispositivos médicos de todos los establecimientos de salud de los Gobiernos Regionales, ESSALUD, sanidades de la Fuerzas Armadas y Policiales.
• Aplicable a los productos que se encuentran dentro del territorio nacional, sin destinación aduanera, a la fecha de la entrada en vigencia del decreto supremo.
• Medidas a cargo de la SUNAT, que serán las medidas complementarias y reglamentarias que resulten necesarias para cumplir el citado Decreto Supremo.
